The Canopy Tour Coordinator will schedule MH staff operating the Canopy Tour, contact, greet and orient the guests participating in tours from internal MH sources and a portion of our public tours, and plan regularly needed maintenance in cooperation with the Bonsai Design staff. This person will also serve as a lead tour guide and provide relief for Bonsai Design’s technical manager on their days off.

Part-time hourly. No benefits. Training costs fully covered after 200 hours of service. Minimum of 20 hours a week up to 40 depending on the demand level. This position can continue on a year round basis. Must have at least two seasons in a roped adventure setting and one season in a supervisory role in any context. Must be able to get or have Wilderness First Aid certification plus CPR. Physically able to lead tours, perform required rescues and work up to two continuous hours in the trees up to eight hours a day total. True North Expeditions (TNX), www.truenorthexpeditions.org, a Christian nonprofit wilderness adventure ministry based out of Anchorage, Alaska, is actively recruiting for four (4) Summer Adventure Interns to lead summer adventures in Alaska. The successful applicant will have the following Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Abilities (KSEAs):

• Self-motivated, able to work independently and solve problems using innovative solutions;
• Experience in wilderness travel. Leading wilderness trips including whitewater rafting and/or inflatable kayaking a plus. Alaska experience a big plus!
• Experience with coordinating wilderness adventures including transportation, food and equipment preparation;
• Excellent verbal communication skills;
• Current Wilderness First Responder (WFR) or Wilderness First Aid (WFA) certification a plus;
• Ability to lead Interns and provide guidance on decisions.

Three counselor/teachers live with each group of 10 campers in a primitive campsite setting.
