Solid Rock Outdoor Ministries (SROM) is offering the following:

40: SROM’s most comprehensive opportunity for training.  Extensive training in rock climbing, backpacking and mountaineering with an emphasis on community and individuals growing as sons of God.  Highlights include a summit attempt of Gannett Peak and a 48 hour solo experience.

WMPC: Available to anyone interested in more training in leading within a wilderness context.  Designed for hard & soft skills training, this course is an excellent opportunity for those interested in wilderness ministry but is also the prerequisite for those interested in instructing at SROM.

12 Day Mountaineering: This course is designed for those interested in developing their mountaineering skills & integrating those within a ministry context.  Learn about ice axe use, travel as a rope team, placing protection, route finding and crevasse rescue.  Highlight is a summit attempt of Gannett Peak.

Technical Rock: Designed for beginner to intermediate climbers, this course is for developing new skills and techniques while also being exposed to different types of climbing.  Rope management, lead climbing, tradition protection placement, anchors, rescue & risk management are topics that will be addressed & experienced.
